OUR PROCESS

Our process is very simple in that it is completely done via email and Whatsapp. First, the customer contacts ProofreadingPros in order to determine the best course of action for proofreading his/her academic article or document. Second, the document is sent via email to the proofreader as to calculate the total cost of the proofreading service.

The cost is calculated from Times New Roman, 12, 1.5 spacing at IDR 80.000 per page. Once the cost is agreed upon, the customer will transfer the payment to ProofreadingPros and that is when the proofreader will begin to proofread. The normal amount of time is around 3 days in order to ensure good quality. Durations shorter than 3 days from payment will result in a higher rate per page depending on the situation.

Throughout the proofreading process, all changes to the document are tracked on Microsoft Word so that the customer can check what was altered and improved in any way.

When the proofreading is finished, the proofreader will send the result to the customer via email along with a certificate that states that the document was indeed checked by a Native English Speaker and qualified proofreader. This is due to most journals asking for such documentation.
